Dude Brendon thank you I literally had stopped playing bcuz the handling was so bad I had to switch back to full traction control and auto gears. I used your recommendations and went back to medium traction and had to up the ai difficulty

These "tips" videos have been great. Seeing the pedal inputs at the top are huge. Would have been neat to have seen that in your braking video too.

Ranked multiplayer has also been changed to 5 laps instead of 25%. So no pit stops or tyre strategy. Basically just a competitive time trial. If i had known this i probably wouldn't have pre-ordered the game. Its all done to just fill lobbies quicker.

What would you suggest a good starting point for brake linearity would be for a non load cell pedal?

Thank you for these vids. They’ve become the only way I learn tracks . I’ve spent a lot of time testing setups from the end of f1 23 to the new game chasing faster times. Hopped in an online session this morning and proceeded to finish in last haha despite thinking I was going to smoke everyone because I had just spent so much time practicing this track.

The engine braking for me is a gimmick because I oversteer a lot when i run this on 100 which gives the most benefit for ERS

I believe they do try to make this game a simulation, even though there are assists for the more casual player. Whether one thinks it is a good simulator is another thing entirely, but I believe the game is targeted to be as realistic as possible for an f1 game as a franchise. I just question apart from the handling, apart from the handling nearly every part of the game is based on real life, there are no real arcade elements to it except f1 world, which definitely arcade and targeted for entertainment.

Is ABS overpowered in this game?
